| Established in 1995 and situated just eleven miles to the east of Nottingham city centre and hidden well off the beaten track is a picturesque fly-fishing location that few ever realise exists. Trinity Lakes offers idyllic and tranquil surroundings in the form of two lakes of truly excellent water that remains crystal clear all year long. No pea green water at this fishery even in July and August. The lakes are nine acres and twelve acres in size. The entire fishery is beautifully landscaped with bank fishing access carefully managed to suit both novice and experienced fly casters. Easy access to every part of the water makes Trinity Lakes ideal as a retreat for anyone wanting to enjoy their pastime. Boats are also available. Trout are extensively stocked throughout the season at a minimum 1.5lb weight going up to and in excess of 6lb. Exceptional water clarity and an abundance of natural food, which enhances the fitness of our fish, so expect a terrific fight. We fish only with barbless hooks and encourage catch and release. Fishing at Trinity Lakes is by membership only. No day tickets are issued other than for Members' guests. |
A friendly casual atmosphere exists amongst the membership with plenty of help on hand for the new comers to the sport. Regular ‘Improver Days’ are run throughout the season organised by our resident Hardy & Greys Academy instructor Andy Smith (APGAI & STANIC qualified). Our trout-fishing season runs from the 1st March to the 30th November with pike fishing permitted on selected days throughout the winter months. Some Members target these large pike with surprisingly good results. For further information about membership and to arrange an informal tour of the fishery please contact us.![]() |
